Neon Typography

One of my favorite artist collaborations is Tim Noble and Sue Webster. They often use Neon in their work. This image is taken from an auction catalog. Clearly the "type" is a free-form style of handwriting. I enjoy the juxtaposition of loose writing with the precision of neon tubes. It's also interesting to consider that the neon is actually hand formed.
