Childlike Typography

Of course I would prefer to sample some freehand letters from my nephew, but he's in Australia. I found that while trawling through the web there are many stylized versions of "child type", however, many of them are not very believable. For example... this H;

To me, this looks like the work of an adult trying to imitate a child. This next image is more believable;



I really like the the color treatment in the letters, and the letter forms seem simple and malformed enough to work. The above image comes from the cover of a novel. Although this kind of type would work well as a title, I can't imagine trying to read a body of text like this.
